I don't want Connolly, he's looking at $4M+ which to me scream Benoit Pouliot. 3rd line player that popped off right before free agency. Marleau would come cheaper and produces around the same.

I agree with what you say about Connelly being another Pouliot. But Marleau isn't the option.. nor would he want to be here in deadmonton lol. We could find someone.. or offer sheet Marner haha

Was said EDM was out of the running for Connolly.. but never know til he signs somewhere. I rather have Donskoi in the 3.25M area and Pirri or Carr with whats saved from not having Connolly at 4Mx4.

Who is supposed to be the front runner for him?? I totally agree. We have to many slow guys

Not sure who is top of the list Rishaug just said he heard EDM was out of the running.. but maybe that was before Holland freed up more $$$ with Sekera buyout

Yea, I would think EDM offered same numbers just FL taxes won. Maybe extra cap was to bump up the offer to Nyquist level now

Yea.. wasn't too keen on Perry in EDM

We need to sign somebody but all these wingers are confirming elsewhere.. really surprised Panik is only getting 2.6M. Wonder what Donskoi will go for? Nyquist probably around Eberle AAV
