The Central is getting stronger

Description
We can easily go into the year with a team like this and compete but I feel like we need another top 6 winger. We could resign Maroon, but I truly believe that we need to add a more impactful forward. Yes, he is a leader and hometown hero which makes it hard to let him go. Any ideas on top 6 wingers available via trade? Army isn't one to overpay for someone like Nyquist/Duchene/Lee/Dzingel.

Zucker could be an option. We need right shot forwards, would St Louis be willing to do something around Zucker for Kyrou? Not necessarily 1 for 1, but a deal around those two.

It won't be a trade, but I wonder if the Blues would be interested in a one year deal for Simmonds. Simmonds had some of his best years with Berube. -Schwartz-Schenn-Simmonds on one line, Sanford-O'Reilly-Tarasenko on another. Of course if that happens there's no room for Kyrou.

I don't see it happening as the Blues don't want to risk losing a major asset to a division rival. I think they would target Kreider ahead of Zucker just because Kreider is on an Eastern team and plays "heavier" than Zucker.

Fair enough! Kreider would be a good target.

As a Blues fan I would strongly disagree trading any of Kyrou, Kostin, or Bokk for anyone. They are all future studs. I think if we want someone, you might look into getting Tyler Johnson. Tampa needs the cap space.

I said Kreider from the Rangers as he plays the exact style the Blues play. He'd thrive in this system

I give this idea the official Michael G. Scott finds Toby back "Nooooooooooo."

I'm just saying if the Blues wanted a cheaper option than trading someone. I'd prefer Kreider over all others, but I think Simmonds could be had for cheap If Maroon doesn't return Simmonds could be a good replacement
