Description
Another great shrewd signing by the Caps. Thought for sure Panik would be around $4M. He's basically Connolly but $1M cheaper.

I don't know much about the 4th line players, but everything else looks really solid. Nice looking line-up for the Caps

I don’t see the point in keeping Stephenson besides familiarity. Seems he has reached his peak potential. I’d rather give someone from Hershey a shot.

But you are right about Panik. A 4 year deal at that cap hit is a great move. I’ve watched him in Arizona and he will fit in great.

Totally agree. Stephenson is an average player. Would rather give someone a chance with a higher ceiling. But it isn't the end of the world if he plays 4th line.

why is everyone signing Djoos at $900k? His QO was $715k and he still has a lot to prove the Caps are not bound to paying him any more than that and own his rights if he wishes to go back to Europe and get his development back on track.
