Cap and that second year are a bit iffy for a 35+ player, but seeing him in red again is a blast. Yzerman really pressing the throwback button here!

I thought he was alright on Islanders, just not sure fits in if Detroit is rebuilding... Either way that is kind of a fair amt of money for a player on the wrong side of the 35+ contract... Maybe he can be flipped at deadline for something if can generate enough offense... I don't think its a good signing but who knows, I used to like him as a player but that was then this is now smile...
