Thank goodness we got him and Pirri back. I didn't want to lose everyone from this cap hell.

This is the guy they took over Mrazek so at least they were able to keep him at a decent cost... I"m not a huge fan of him, yet they lost some depth players on forward which was already pretty pathetic and thing... When Trash Reaves is among top 3-4 people in games played w/ 3/9 goals on PP It shows team has no clue what its doing from top down smile... I hope they can trade him at deadline for something when they are in last place in Pacific and NHL smile...

The issue is going to be what McPhee wants to do with Gusev and Schuldt, who are immune to offer sheets. Assuming Glass replaces McKenzie or Zykov on the main roster, Las Vegas has about $2.4M in cap space for two defensemen (of whom Whitecloud, at $925, might be one) and a backup goalie, without reference to the two question marks. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I think Vegas should have got rid of HOldin who is like 2M+... Still mad they didn't play Gusev up 3-1 vs. Sharks while Avalanche tossed Makar right into the fire... Lot harder to play D in NHL or playoffs compared to forward... Zykov I remember when Kings traded to get him slamming tables only to throw him away in horrible deal smile. Zykov is like 600K or minimal money so his salary isn't a problem.. Paying a few guys millions more than worth coupled w/ Reaves getting almost 3M bankrupted team fast... I figured they would trade Gusev since Gallant will treat him like that other russian who had 1 goal in 3 games they ran out of town smile.
