This makes me think when Boston tossed a bunch of loot at Iginla near end of his career... I don't like this move for Jersey really... I mean 5M for a 1 year deal seems like they can only lose... They should make post season so they probably hope he will be a factor... If he plays well he will probably get more money to play somewhere else... IF he struggles they lost a slot that should have been used to develop a younger player with upside who might still be in organization... I probably would have liked to see them bring back Boyle heh. He can be good where gets hat trick or pops in offense like a poor man's Evander Kane or rich version depending on if Evander is invisible or not .
