At worst an AHL player, but would have liked a Barber, Carr or Pirri signing a lot more. Jurco has the ability to be 20-25 pt player if things work out for him but it’s a long shot

Well he did turn it on for the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL during their playoff run, so maybe he still has a bit left for another go at the nhl. Not sure but maybe he benefited from playing with the Canes young star Necas? Either way, he might give the oilers a bit of depth scoring or he goes and pumps their farm team with some offense so their young prospects can learn to be winners.

Would have preferred a Pirri or Carr, but maybe they wouldn't sign with the Oilers at such a friendly contract.

One of the better tweener wingers available who, after winning the Calder Cup, may be feeling a level of confidence missing from his game. He was dangerous in the games in the TOR-CHA series I was at, and certainly could be a sneaky good pick-up for Holland (who knows Jurco from having drafted him of course).
