If he is eligible for an offer sheet, this is really smart

They have roughly 11 plus 5.3 from ltir {Horton}
I was think 4 mill to 4.5 to cece because he has arb rights
And than 10 mill to marner would roughly have 2 mil left which wouldn’t be enough and i don’t think they have much left to dump out

Well they don't even need Ceci, and Marner won't be at 10. I don't think anyone is going to pry him away

The thing is there planning to take cece which causes the problem
Kerfoot only a 3 mil player and I’m pretty sure Dubas would take a 2nd rather than overpay
If not this I could see a tanev and a third for cece and kerfoot deal

The whole Kadri deal was based on getting Kerfoot. I just don't see this happening without Dubas doing his homework on a potential deal

And the only reason they take Ceci was they wer forced to. They don't need him and he's not that good. Barrie and Dermott are their top 2 RD
