4th line depth. Like his upside when he plays though. Big guy.

Do not understand why he's not in the NHL already. If I could build my ideal 4th liner, he would look a lot like Nick Paul. Big physical player, good skater, can play centre or wing and he can play both special teams as needed.

He doesn't have a lot of upside, but he's young and a great fit with our young stars. Brown and Batherson in particular were singing his praises last year.

Paul-Smith-Ennis would be a pretty good 4th line.

Poor Nicholas

Why do you just assume playing in Ottawa is a tragedy in every single scenario? I see you post this type of stuff on every single Ottawa trade or signing. It's not that bad. On any other team he wouldn't get any minutes, but Nick Paul gets his chance here to prove he deserves minutes in other lineups. Ottawa isn't good at all but that doesnt mean his career is in the dumps. If anything, this will help his career.

Their owner is a jackass, their gm has the mental capacity of a 5 year old and their literally with the additions of Zaitsev,Brown,Hainsey and Ennis signings the Leafs sloppy seconds

Doironn isn't an idiot, he is just being puppeteered by their cheapskate of an owner. I don't see how you suddenly hate all of these players because they left the Leafs? Zaitsev will flourish with an offensive top-2 situation in Ottawa, Brown will be given the minutes he needs and Hainsey and Ennis will be solid depth signings for them.
