AHL depth to mentor our young prospects...don't freak out lol. Probably the 13th-15th FWD on the depth chart.

Probably a warm body for the press box so guys like louto and suess can play meaningful minutes rather than sit in the press box

Probably not the right forum to post this, but are WPG fans worried about the team this upcoming season? Some big ice time D men leaving and still no signings of Laine and Connor. From my perspective it's good that no offer sheets have come forward for either, because if I'm a rival team I'm seriously looking at OS for Connor. He's damn good and a work horse!

As for Letestu, he may end up as the 12th or 13th fwd as he's serviceable on the 4th line. Salary is low enough to not be a problem.

Am I fooled into thinking that the D needs help though?

The Jets miss the playoffs next year and Buff goes on the trade market to help rebuild the future.

AHL depth...Crazy. Only 15 months ago he was acquired by CBJ from EDM at the deadline. He was supposed to be an impact player, but didn't score a single point in the playoff loss to WASH. That last stint in Columbus was his good-bye tour. At 34 he's finished in the NHL.

Two way contract and is only 1 year. Whoever votes no doesn't understand the CBA or the NHL.

Jets really broke the bank to replace Hayes on this deal smile. I remember when this guy was a decent player to take in fantasy here or there... NOw I'm not so sure Jets will be expected in playoffs given their off season smile.
