As much as i would LOVE to see this, no way does tampa get Faulk and have 2.4M retained by CAR for a 7th Dman, a backup goalie and 2 picks outside the top 155... sorry but the price just isnt enough.

I agree. I think Carolina would be willing to retain some if we also potentially offered Adam Erne. But I don't think any of this is truly going to happen anyway. I think Boyler coming back to Tampa could certainly happen, and it helps fill another 3rd or 4th line big guy that we need, for a decent price.
