Laine won't sign for that many years at that cap hit. Either the years come down or salary goes up. And since when does Carolina actually spend close to the cap? Lol

Since they were bought by a billionaire, and they matched a 21 million dollar signing bonus on Sebastian's offersheet

Would you do Pesce instead of Hamilton and Necas instead of Bean + a 3rd rounder.

So Toronto 1st, Carolina 1st, Pesce, Geekie and Necas. The 1sts will both be late and Bean looks great but really a C addresses our needs better as we have lots of high end prospect LHD already.

If I was Chevy, I would do that deal. And Carolina would sign Laine to the same deal Aho did but the salary to match the cap hit every year.
