That is a no from Columbus. We aren’t moving picks. We are going into a rebuild and Kreider doesn’t fit what we’re wanting to do. Also we aren’t moving yet another 1st round pick.

I agree that CBJ is not in a position to move more picks for rentals, even if Kreider were to resign there. That said, if NYR moves Kreider at the deadline a contender will pay a first rounder and a prospect for him. So I like the return here but it's just the wrong team with CBJ.

I would agree but they literally just tried to re-sign Panarin and Duchene...who are similar ages to Kreider. So I am not sure which direction they are going. They have a lot of young players in the NHL right now with the defense, Dubuois and Atkinson.
