Eakin isn't a cap dump. You don't need to give away 2 second round picks to get rid of him. You could easily get a prospect or pick back for him. He has as much or even more value than Haula, and you got back a B level prospect for him. Haula's value was really hurt by his injuries, Eakin doesn't have that issue

so you're trading a power forward to keep a finesse player on the line that supposed to be a shutdown one. it doesn't make any sense.

Eakin is a solid 3c who is great on face-off's, responsible in his on zone and a 20g scorer
