Jets decline. We only need to move out about 4 million. Either dumpling kulikov or trading perreault will suffice.

I would want Suzuki and juulsen for starters and even then I’d think about it

Ehlers isn’t worth giving up Suzuki .. if given the opportunity Suzuki could come into the league next year and put up 30-45 points which isn’t far off of what ehlers has done throughout his career playing with some pretty damn good players in Winnipeg

Ehlers is a 60 pt winger. I think that you are ignoring that fact that he was injured. Also if not then the jets don’t trade ehlers. They do not need to trade him.

The thing is Suzuki is still a prospect. He is not proven yet. Ehlers is a 23 year old 60 point winger with 30 goal seasons under his belt. The jets don't have to trade him like the Trouba scenario which means teams would definitely have to overpay to get him as his contract is real good as well.

I can see why you don't want to give up on Suzuki tho the kid is amazing.

Would the Jets consider moving Laine? Just curious on jets fans opinion on this. For Drouin +++? Again, Jets would have to be open to the idea of moving him, but someone like Drouin would fit with his low cap hit, and chemistry with Ehlers. MTL are deep with RD prospects which is what WIN are looking for, no? Add a 1st rd pick or two and there’s a deal to be had imo.

not trying to sound rude or anything but no. I don't think they would or should consider moving Laine. He is still so very young and there is hardly anyone (besides ovechkin) that's like him. Now obviously he is not Ovechkin yet but I still believe he will round out his game and be a consistent 40-50 goal man every year. Trading Laine is something that the jets would instantly regret.

Fair enough!

Offer sheet it is! awesome face 5years $10.4mil AAV. (I know Jets would probably still match, but it would seriously destroy their cap situation. Bergevin is open to the idea!)
