Description

Jim’s already thrown down the gauntlet to make the playoffs either this year or next with the J.T. Miller trade. Time to go all in then and see if PIT wants some more Canuck depth. Sort of a ‘retool’ move for PIT where they get a great young Russian winger for Malkin to mentor, while the Canucks massively upgrade their blueline.

Giving up Podkolzin in that deal is pretty dumb but if you remove him from the trade then I love this trade as a Canucks fan.
