Love the deal. Two way in year one gives them flexibility this year, but this guy is definitely ready to be in the NHL full time. With 31 points in 40 games in the AHL last year, he's got nothing left to show at that level. I would hope that he will be in the top 4 this season, but who knows.

My ideal D pairs:
Chabot-DeMelo
Wolanin-Zaitsev
Hainsey-Jaros
Borowiecki

Worst case scenario:
Chabot-Hainsey
Borowiecki-Zaitsev
Wolainin-DeMelo
Jaros

I agree! Wolanin needs to play in the NHL. Personally, I have seen enough of him play to see that he is an NHL top4 D in the making... and I wish they would have signed him longer term..... 4+ years

Also, yes - start Brannstrom in the minors until you flip out either Demelo, Boro or/and Hainsey at the deadline.

I think the sens will re-sign Dylan DeMelo. Legit top 4 option, and a good stop gap option until one of Thompson or JBD are pro ready. If they can get him at 3×3 or something, I'd be pretty happy

Brannstrom likely comes up post Hainsey deadline deal. Even though Lajoie spent most of the season in the NHL, he's likely the furthest away from being a full time NHL player of the three. Likely has the lowest ceiling as well.
