The Leafs look forward to those super juicy and highly unprotected 1st rounders that will surely be lottery picks considering the Habs will not be making the Playoffs for these next 4 years, and that is with or without Mitch Marner. But hey, it's worth a try, right? grin

They just missed the playoffs this year by 1 spot, they have poehling and suzuki coming in, and if they sign Marner they have a potential 100 point scorer added to their team, and their team will only get better. At the very best 2 of those picks are lottery picks and in the 12-15 range too. You're just another delusional Leafs fan

So you are saying that either Poehling or Suzuki equates to John Tavares? Okay, I am the delusional fan. Clearly, someone is forgetting, and at the most opportune time, that Mitch Marner had 68 assists last season. So even if Marner makes the great pass, a skill player is then required to finish the job and score. John Tavares, his most primarily linemate is elite at doing that. Poehling and Suzuki are no where close, not even remotely. So yes, Marner might make your team a little bit better but the Habs still have major issues up and down there lineup.

so the 10M that I said can be 10.45, it wont matter for MTL...Plus you only had 2 extras...if TML had three minor injuries, you cant bring anyone up to help...

we'll see about that. we missed them with 96 pts... the highest amount of point ever to miss the playoff, without Marner.

This year Poehling will start in the show, every rookie is a year older and more experienced, Weber will start the season, Juulsen is back 100%.

Domi 28 goals and a career year, Tatar 25 goals, Gallagher 33 goals, Poahling proved he can score goals in his 1st game, Marner can only improve those totals, and regardless of how many points he has the Canadiens are better with him and go from the cusp of the playoffs to making the playoffs.
