The TSN 1290 guys are going to be very very very disappointed in Kerfoot with the way they were talking about himt his morning. 1st off they think hes JT Compher looking up his stats to talk about him, and then describe him as a shooting defensive 3rd line C? By what game do they start to call him out if they think thats the player they got

There aren’t many players I’d trade Mackinnon for straight up and none of them are on the Leafs. Mac is an absolute steal on that contract.

Yeah I’m not sure about him either. But I think he will suffice nonetheless.

Hes a pass first 3rd line Winger, think of a poor mans Alex Tanguay. His metrics do not tell his tendencies as a player. Nice depth guy but hes not the defensive C that some of the Leafs twitter guys are saying he could be based on his fancy stats.

You can have him back for mackinnon if you want. 1 for 1.

Gusev wants 4m and that's why Vegas is having trouble agreeing on a contract. I'd pass on Dzingel personally. The term and $$ he wants and will probably get doesn't fit in the cap structure for the Avs IMO. Sure they can afford him but down the road it could be problematic. If the Avs were to add another forward I'd prefer ferland. Some people thought he'd get 5m+ but he's still unsigned so I don't think teams are willing to pay that much. If the Avs could get him for 3 or 4 mil for 3 years, that would be a great addition. Avs need $$ coming off the books in 2 or 3 years to pay Landy Makar Girard etc.

I don't think you gotta throw in Ceci. It's just that it would benefit you more if we traded Spezza back to you (retaining half his salary of course) for the 6th rounder we gave you in the Kadri deal. Like next week though. Or after Spezza buy's his home in Denver.
