Philly accepts. You will like Hagg's penchant for punishing people with clean hits, but he does get caught puck watching out of position too often. Third pair is fine. It's possible he improves upon his weaknesses and we regret it, but it's the right move from Philly's perspective and cap position right now.

IDK what fair value is for Vegas, but MTL would have the deepest set of wingers in the NHL, bar none. Arguably already do but definitely so with that trade.

P.S. I thought Domi played center and Poehling wing?

Deepest set of depth wingers ***
If Poehling is on the wing, Habs fans will have the heads of Julien and Bergevin. We don't need to repeat the Galchenyuk experience

We have a small team up front, which is not too much of a problem because our system is based on speed, but we ofter get murdered by forechecking teams from the west conference. So a bigger defensive core could help make opposing forward pay for their visit in the corners.

Domi is a winger who played center this year, Poehling is most definitely a centerman.

Vegas is in a weird position where they need to shed cap.... but can't take a contract back for the value of the players they are trading (would be counterproductive.) I like Reaves because he can bring that physical element when we play teams from the West. So his cap hit won't be a waste!
Gusev is a risk, but one that could pay off like Radulov or fizzle out like Jerabek, Sekac and others
