The Sharks are not going to give up Labanc unless they get completely blown away by an offer. I thought NYR might make an offer sheet for him considering he is from NY, but I still see the Sharks matching anything $4.5M and under.
Also, in this lineup, your top 9 forwards are all Left Handed. Need some balance with righties and lefties.

getting Kreider and a better, cheaper, younger back up goalie is a pretty damn good offer for a guy they might not be able to sign.. I bet San Jose wold take this. Not sure the Rangers would though

From NYR side - tough call. Probably would want another prospect or that 4th to be more like a 2nd. Mostly because of how well Georgie played last season in the second half.

Labanc is already getting more points than Kreider and he’s five years younger with room to develop more. My thought was the Sharks we’re already overpaying but Kreiders contract is so fair that I would accept it.

I don’t think Sharks do this trade because of valuable Labanc being a right hand shot is to them.
But if you’re gonna do that trade, then the 4th must become a 2nd because Georgiev can be a starting goalie.

I don’t see Labanc being traded and that’s a good thing. I assumed Georgiev was third on the depth chart behind Shesterkin, but I barely get to watch NYR games.

He’s 2nd as of now, but Shesterkin is better and will be better so he will become the king’s heir in a few years (assuming things go as planned).
