What's Connor Murphy worth in a trade?

your title says it all.. "probably not" accepted by New York.

If you want Krieder, look at the Mark Stone for a comparable. You'd have to start with probably Boqvist, then a roster player and a pick. The pick would either be a 1st or a 2nd depending who the roster player was.

Rangers have Trouba, Skjei, Fox, DeAngelo, Hajek, Staal, Smith, and a few other young guys competing for top 4 spots, they’re not going to want Gus

...you’ve gotta be joking, right? Kreider has never scored more than 60 points, while Stone is a consistent 70 point scorer while also being one of the best defensemen in the league. I wouldn’t do Boqvist straight up for him.

Stone has scored 70 points once in his career.. which was last season

He was over a point per game last season, and is, by every metric, much better than Kreider. Kreider is a solid 2nd line winger, but not worth anything near the haul that Stone got in return.

& every competing team in the league is gonna look at Krieder as an option so if Chicago wanted to actually get him, you have to outbid the other teams. Was Stone worth Erik Brannstrom + more? Nope.. but Vegas was the team that overpaid for him and outbid other teams. If not Boqvist, then Jokiharju would most likely be the minimum. But then that's gonna include a better forward and pick.. so would you rather give up 1 good young player, or multiple? Take your pick. Teams don't just hand you players for what you wanna pay. They have a set price. If you don't meet it, they'll go somewhere else. & someone else will pay it and Chicago will be out of the playoffs.. again.

Rangers have a god roster now, i must say. But they are very thin in the middle. Strome as your 2nd best center isn´t wow exactly. Kakko seems to have very good uppside in his abilities to drive a line tho. I can se that they are looking for a center in the market but very hard to se them release Kreider. But i would like him as a Hawk off course!

You are insane if you think Kreiders trade will be comparable to Stones trade. Idk if you’re a Rangers fan but you are going to be greatly disappointed if you think he’s getting a return like this.

1st rounder and decent prospect at the deadline. No top tier prospect like Branstrom or Boqvist will be included.
