I can tell you that Colorado is very high on Francouz and wouldn't be looking to move him, and that Stepan isn't going anywhere for this year at least.

Why would CBJ need yet another goalie prospect? We already have 3 very highly regarded goalies in the system, as well as korpisalo. And they aren’t trading Boone

Why? Really? Why? Do you think you should have any confidence that Korpi can take over a starting job and take you to the playoffs? Do you have confidence in Merzilkis going from a European rink (not even in a top league) and coming over to the NHL and playing well? Calling Francouz a propsect? What are you talking about? He's 29 and has proven he can play in the NA rink. So right now, you got no real goaltender. And if you think Boone Jenner is an adequate 2nd line center, then that's beyond me. Acting like Boone Jenner is some sort of untouchable is sorta ridiculous. If you think the way your team stands right now looks like a playoff team, then I couldn't disagree more.

And yes, I’d rather have a young goalie with NHL experience than a 29 year old that spent one year in the AHL. And would rather have the top Swiss goalie, and top Finnish goalie. Thanks for asking tho

Yeah ride that .897 SV% and 2.95 GAA all the way to the playoffs? Yeah right...

Francouz is two years removed from being the top KHL goalie and has proven he plays well on the NA rink. But hey, if you wanna dumpster dive in the standings, go for it

Merzlinkins/25- 2.44/.921 in NL(Switzerland)
Vehilanen/22-1.58/.933 in LIGGA(Finland)
Korpisalo is 25- you have stats already
Tarasov-/20- 1.71/.928 in VHL(Russia’s version of the AHL) 2.86/.913 in 2 KHL games.

Francouz/29 -2.68/.913 in AHL and 1.97/.943 in 2 NHL games.

Underlying story, Colorado won’t be trading Fancouz for a 3rd unless he sucks big time and Columbus has the potential to have some solid goalies that aren’t Korpisalo, who in my option may be better as a starter then as a backup playing 1 in every 7-10 games.
