I agree with your idea that the hawks aren't high on Jokiharju, for whatever reason they just seem to be burying him further and further down the depth chart. I think NYR considers this but they don't have much cap space available.

Blackhawks are making a big mistake on their assessment of Jokiharju as I agree with you. He's going to see ice time though at least in the first 45 days of the season with De Haan on IR until Thanksgiving. I think it will become painfully clear they are not handling him correctly when he shows once again he's one of the top 3 d guys on the team.

The hawks are just loading their D with veterans so that they can give their rookies time to develop. Gus is probably being traded around the deadline so you know one of our prospects are coming up. Henri will also be the go to guy if there’s any injuries so chill, and let him ease into the lineup, instead of giving up hope in him bc he got sent down once.
