I think people are too used to seeing Florida flop when it comes to success.

That being said, I really like their team going into next season and I wouldn't be surprised if they made a deep run in the playoffs.

WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT FLORIDA. Summer is here in the North East. We don't talk about Florida till first frost. Is that Florida lineup 20 players and no cap? Who goes?
No Calgary would be insane letting their potential goalie leave for scraps. Rittich is getting paid more.

I think that your construction proves that Florida can't afford Sheahan, at least at that price.

If you sign a backup goalie for $750 instead of $1M, you have another roster slot.
