Buffalo would do the first trade. Definitely not the 2nd.

We wouldnt have the cap to do the 2nd, and no way we can afford to part with those pieces

I mean I guess in a more realistic scenario Tampa would add more but I think mcdonagh would be a great acquisition for the sabers because he’s a great defenseman who can help out buffalos weaker d line and their non existent goaltending. They could pair him with Dahlin and really have mcdonagh put him under his wing and give dahlin a more defensive aspect to his game. Like I said Tampa would have yo give more like a rookie or a better pick but I don’t think it’s far off.

That 2nd offer is very far off imo. I realistically wouldn't want anything to do with McDonagh with his term and hit. I think if you poll any sabre fan they would agree. Love the first trade, no way we do the 2nd.

The first Trade is robbery for Buffalo, second Trade is robbery for Tampa

What if the first rounder was replaced with a 4th or 5th because Ik Casey was a to tier rookie a couple of years ago but I feel he didn’t play as expected this year so buffalo might try to get rid of him while they can because if he has a good year next year and wants a big pay day this could be a way to get good value and not have to go through the whole rfa process next year which as seen this year is turning to be a bit of a mad show.

Exactly my thoughts. Why we would love the first, and no way we would do the 2nd haha.

I'm not saying anyway Tampa would do this, but the only way they would move Casey to Tampa is if point was coming back.

Never going to happen, but that is kind of my point.

Don't you actually have to win something to be considered a dynasty?

As a Sabre’s fan where can I sign for Risto and a 4th for Cirelli, Johnson and a 2nd?!?!? That would be a fleecing for Buffalo. You guys shouldn’t trade Cirelli he’s good young and cheap.
