and when will the Habs raise another cup likely 2078 something like that I would go to say Toronto wins a cup in 2020.
2 no because he made the cap work he has enough to sign marner to a long-term 10.5M contract hence the reason we have said they will MATCH.
3 no you don't have the best Prospect Pool, not even close to the best prospect pool, go look at Ottawa, and Minnesota, and Boston, and Florida, and Anaheim. All have better Prospect Pools than Montreal because Kotkaniemi, and Poehling don't count anymore they played NHL ice and they are staying on the NHL ice.
4 no you actually don't you have spent too much money on players like Price, and Shea Weber. Also called being a hypocrite if you have enough for another 2 10+M you are basically they same as Dubas. Stop playing on NHL 19....kid

Suzuki- 42 points in Ohl playoffs (recently only McDavid and Marner has more)

Caufield- Broke Ovechkin 14 goals record in WC juniors and broke 55 goals Matthews record with 72 goals in 64 games.

Primeau- Best goalie of year
Romanov - MVP defenseman U-20 WJ tournament
Poehling - MVP U-20 WJ tournament
Josh Brook- Def of the year WHL

So yes we have the best prospect pool in nhl and the most balanced.. search in google hahah

No he has the skill to be a Top Line Winger at most, but to say he is one of the best Wingers in the League, and still have a worse CF% than Tarasenko, Radulov, Gallagher, and even Aho is quite hilarious how much wool is pulled over everyone's eyes.

The skill to be a top line winger at most? You've got to be kidding me...he is clearly a top line winger. He has the skill to be a top 5 winger and I believe a top 10 winger as of last season at age 22.

Poehling doesn't count like I said numbnuts, and just because certain players have certains things doesn't mean it transitions to the NHL. Suzuki heavily carried by a kid named Tag Bertuzzi....42 Points in playoffs means nothing when you are playing the same team over and over, and it's a crappy team.

WJC really means nothing Caufield might be good, but not amazing.

Primeau not even close to Cal Petersen, and you didn't name where bet it was in the CHL where it has no baring on a 20 Year Old Goalie.

Romanov WJC again really means nothing....

Poehling is NHL doesn't count..

Josh Brook WHL woohoo he won a junior league award at 20 he so good. Means nothing....

right now yes, skill to be a top line winger at most. That's what he should be paid like until he can show his "Patrick Kane" skills or whoever the hell you wanna say he plays like he should be paid by what his skillset shows and that's 7.5/8M. You don't watch enough Toronto hockey to notice...

Unfortunately, you clearly don't understand that young players get paid on not only what they've shown but their upside. This is true in any professional sport.

You're right...I never played the game one step shy of the show let alone watch enough hockey to know.

But you don't get what the upside is, if he is getting carried the upside is less, if I were to pay him based only simple fact he has been carried, I would be giving him a 6x6, but since I know he has some future upside maybe a little bit of growth 7.5/8M....

Here's the problem; you are analyzing this purely off of Corsi with and without JT. You can't analyze advanced stats without looking at the complete lines...that's 3 players, and then analyze each player individually against his linemates with consideration were they 1st, 2nd or 3rd lines they played on. Line chemistry is a big factor...I said earlier, especially the case for dynamic wingers...they need the right linemates. We saw this with Patrick Kane as the Hawks rolled him out on the 3rd line a lot this season and he looked like crap. Advanced stats are important to look at, but they are hardly overall telling of a player's capabilities. Marner is one of the smartest players in the league, one of the most dynamic stick handlers and skaters.

Nohis Rel CF% is 0.38, his Rel GF% is 8.38 Rel xGF% is a 1.63, Quality of Teammate CF% is a 51, and his Quality of Competition is a 47 on the CF% scale. He has a 59.2 oZS% which is down from the last 2 years, and his dZS% is a whopping 40...

Okay so there are the advanced stats. Can you imagine what Kane's advanced stats were when he was playing on the 3rd line this season? I have no way to pull that but the Hawks did a lot of this during the season. He looked like absolute crap on the 3rd line. Point is, you can take a top 5 player in the league (Kane) throw him on the wrong line and while he's clearly still a good winger, he hardly looked like anywhere near a top 5 or top 20. Dynamic wingers, not two way guys or physical wingers, need the right linemates. That's what the advanced stats show here with Marner and JT. It's no different then Kane when he had Toews or Anisimov in his prime with Panarin and Sharp before that. Is Rantenen the same player without Mackinnon or Landeskog?

Kane had better stats in xGF% GF% CF% and the Ratio between QoT v QoC is actually worse in marginal compared to what Marner has. Marner has a +4 Ratio in QoT v QoC on his side. Kane's ratio is -2 meaning he carried his team rather the team carrying him....
