This is a good deal because the Blues added depth for really cheap, now we should have some room for Maroon if he does end up trying to come back to the team.

Honestly, I'm fine with letting Maroon walk. I would rather see what Kyrou or Kostin can do. This is a good depth signing and I'm assuming that Barbashev and Sundqvist each get 2 to 2.5 (they haven't earned a 3 mil deal yet).

As a Blues fan, I honestly think it’s a good deal and I think Zach made that money in the Cup final. With that said, if he’s getting $1.5 mil, what’s Oskar Sundqvist and Ivan Barbashev gonna get? At least $2.5 mil right? Maybe $3? Those 2 will be interesting to see let alone Binnington and Edmundson. Most Blues fans think Eddy’s gotta go.

Barbashev and Sundqvist probably get 2 to 2.5 each. While Sundqvist had a good year, this was his only solid season in his career to this point. I don't want to see Edmundson go per say as I think he could eventually get just below Ekholm's level and they could afford to keep him (if they let Maroon walk like they should). But for future cap reasons, he can be let go and the Blues not really miss a beat.

I was wondering how a thread about Zach Sanford, of all freakin' people, managed to accumulate 28 posts.
