to much to philly you know what marner can do, nolan and ivan straight up for marner maybe. i wouldnt throw in anything else. not even sure i would give up marner for that either.

maybe including Liljgren was too much, ok i can see that, but:
22 yr old top pair D / plays 24+ mins PP/PK was a 0.5PPG player 2 years ago
&
20 yr old #3C could be a #2, RHC which leafs don't have (old Spezza/unproven Brooks?), can be a 45+point player

The key is having Rielly/Dermott switch to RD (when Muzzin leaves Reilly back to LH)

i dont think this makes sense for philly, and i still think its an underpay for provorov and patrick.

Here's the problem with the trade. Provorov and Reilly are both left handed and neither play their off side well enough. We would be forced to trade one of Reilly or Muzzin just to accommodate this trade. Patrick despite being a 2nd overall pick has not demonstrated enough yet at the nhl. Philly likes and wants to keep him, and Dubas would probably target Frost as he's a former greyhound.
