You are also not salary Cap compliant. You need a 23 man roster and league min is 650k-700k.

Doesn't seem like a big deal until you realize that you basically already have 7 guys making league min, so you can't send down a player and bring one up who makes less.

no team has ever won with 2 10M+ players. It will eventually happen, but now you are talking about 3?

You don't need 23, that is just what a lot of teams go with. They could get by with 22 no problem

The minimum roster size is 20 (18 skaters and 2 goalies) and the maximum roster size is 23. See here for more information: http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=26377

Additionally, Gauthier and Holl appear to be making less than the league minimum, but the league minimum is for salary not cap hit. The $675,000 listed is their cap hit AAV. Essentially a player like Holl signed a two year contract at the league minimum ($650,000 last year and $700,000 this year) which averages to $675,000.

The way RangerWall92 layed this out is all good.

Marner will likely settle with 5 years at 11 million. No team is offer sheeting him or they would have done it already . His greed is no different from anyone else. He wants to be paid and leafs paid everyone else he wants his money. Pay up or trade him
