You are over the cap and underpaid both Dermott and Muzzin significantly. though I think you overpaid Marner...

I think I am under the cap... I do agree for Dermott and Muzzin, this is my best case scenario if both take a discount (which has not been a trend for this team unfortunately)

Really hoping Sandin and/or Liljegren can come in next year and be solid at minimum. Getting 2 years of Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Nylander, Reilly, Anderson, Kapanen, in their prime while those 2 young D-men are on entry level deals yet.. that could be greatness in the making.

Quite low on the Muzzin contract. Stralman got 3 years x 5.5 million, and Muzzin is younger and better. If he take's a discount he'll take 6 million

You are 46 thousand under the cap, but have 22 skaters. NHL min salary is about 700K thus you are about 650K over the cap if you add a min contract

Muzzin is younger and is better because of it. Stralman was as good or better in his prime (though was a late bloomer)

Technically. But there is a reason no one has carried less than 23 for more than a couple weeks in the last decade
