Keep in mind if you were trading Perlini you would likely get something in return. Is that what your projecting here? Or is there an injury in unaware of?

Perlini would be traded for a mid round pick.

Is there not room for him in Chicago? I don’t understand, I thought he was pretty good. Oilers would definitely toss a 3rd or 4th your guys way for him I would think

He's ok, he reminds me of Duclair and Panik. He had a great small stretch in Chicago but he was also a healthy scratch at points. To become cap compliant somebody needs to go and the likely candidates are Anisimov, Murphy and Perlini. I really like all three but Perlini is the odd man out.

Why is Perlini the odd man out over AA? Younger, Faster and a lower cap hit.

AA is obviously a better defender and has a longer track record to prove he is the safer choice but some times you gotta take a chance on a guy.
