Devils say no pretty quickly I would think, they aren’t giving up on Zacha in exchange for a lottery ticket.

Other two deals are fine.

I actually really like the First two trades. If we're gonna dump JJ you need a replacement, McCabe fits the bill nicely. Like defensive lines too, Pettersson and Gudbranson looked good together in the last few games of the season.

Girgensons can play 4th line center nicely but I'd like to see Bulger in the lineup.

Think the issue comes at 3rd line center, Zacha isn't the answer, I'd actually prefer Girenson at the third line than Zacha. Plus don't trade away Hållander he had a great season in the SHL as an 18 year old! if he improves again then you could see him in the line up come 2020.

Tanev won't be a top 6 guy, I bet you see him come on the ice often after goals against to land some hits and try to get momentum back. Have a feeling the Simon experiment will continue and we'll see Simon-Malkin-Galchenyuk as the second line. I'm interested to see Galchenyuk on his off wing, and with a playmaker like Malkin centering him, he could have a big year.

I wouldn't trade Hallander, he's still our best prospect

As a Sabre's fan IMO Buffalo wins this trade. I like Bjugstad, Nick he could fill in as our #2 center until Mittelstadt is ready, Jarry, Tristan is a good GK prospect unfortunately Buffalo has UPL and Ullmark so I would want a different prospect. 2020 3rd would be nearly a 4th, so it is not a big addition.
I really like McCabe as he was the Sabres top LHD just 2 years ago. Would any of you consider Bjugstad for McCabe and Girgensons?

As a Sabre's fan I would make the first trade as well.

What about Pierre-Olivier Joseph instead of the 3rd and Jarry?

Couldn't say that right now he's only 20, In my opinion, he's not skillful enough for an Offensive D man and not big enough for a two way or Defensive Dman but he's still developing and can always add weight, it'll be interesting seeing how/if he adjusts for the pro hockey in AHL next year. After this season we'll have a good idea if he's a bust or not.
