slight overpay on Marner trade. That trade is worth a bit more than 4 1sts youd get from an offersheet

I love that Bouchard is included. I honestly like the deal for Leafs and Oilers.

Well yeah cuz its more than 4 1sts. You get 2 1sts and Bouchard, Puljujarvi and RNH (all 3 are top 10 picks) lol. This deal is worth more than taking the offersheet compensation. Also, who knows if youd even get top 10 picks with 4 1sts rounders, could be all late 20s

But you get Marner for 2mil less. Id honestly just take out 2021 1st and get maybe late pick there or no pick. Its overpayment, but the base is exactly what it would need to be. Bouchard for sure wouldve been in that deal.

How does this help Edm??? They still end up with 3 players that can score. Lose Bouchard and 2 1st rd picks.

If Marner won't sign for 8 x11 why would he sign for 7x 10 with Edm??

Marner is seeking closer to $12 million per, He's not signing with Edmonton for only $10 million per. And Kronwall is on record that he either plays one more season in Detroit. Or he retires. He wont play elsewhere.
