They werent allowed to exit the training facilities without signing ?

Yup. Sharks GM Doug Wilson was so peeved about not getting elected to the HHoF again (he is the only eligible Norris Trophy winner not named Carlyle to not be in the HHoF after all), he hired a hit squad to gather up all his RFA’s so he could sign them in 1 day to min salary deals and take off for Hawaii for 2 months. The hit squad may have also been involved in the Leblanc signing, tho that’s still to be confirmed.

My thoughts exactly, i actually filled report to FBI in case of the Lebanc robbery contract.

Certainly an investigation will ensue. But correct me if I’m wrong, I don’t believe that signing contracts at gunpoint is explicitly prohibited in the current CBA. Wilson’s just using this loophole to his advantage.

Media spreading bad press against the Sharks wink... What else is new, I like the signing even if they had to encourage him smile. They don't call it the Shark Cage for nothing wink... IT used to be the Shark Tank but Kings started to call it Shark Cage or something during playoffs or when they moved there wink...
