Description

Updated version of my 2nd Gard-Pulj projection:
- To get Gardiner a heavily loaded 5yr-contract is necessary imo.
- Reinstalled Tat-Dan-Gal line -> Projected 1st/2nd line, use of Pulj. and L/R duties for Lehk. and Byron shouldn't be overrated - still figuring out
- Poehling still demoted to Laval for 19/20
- I used worst case salary scenario by calculated demotions (instead of trades/buyouts) -> there may be a bunch of options getting some (lower) draft picks
- Mete/Juulsen: have to admit being not overly high on them. Think they should play a full year in Laval to get consistency (or maybe identified as mediocre Ds?)
- Hudon and McCarron are still expendable (and have to be if MTL wants to succeed) - at least for the NHL roster

2.5 for a guy that had 9 points last season who is also coming off major hip injuries.

What so special JP? He's been strictly AHL so far. That's a big overpay for Gardiner.

I agree - Gardiner ist overpaid. Nonetheless u will need to pay or going without a desperate needed LD. Pulj. is a gamble - but w/ 5m for 2yrs MTL can't lose imo.

Never heard of Pulj.'s crucial hip injuries. Detailed infos would be appreciated!

I'm definitely not w/ MG1986 - adding Gardiner makes MTL better - but as I already said, I'm not high on Mete/Juulsen. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm feeling right for now.

Trade for Pulj. is easier? How to do? Tell me more...

Regarding MB's last years I'm afraid you're right. But at the same time I think he's doing wrong.
