When have the Sabres not signed a Swede?? LOL. A team needs role players too, solid on draws and works hard.

I had him going at $1.6M for 1y, so I’ll pat myself on the back for this estimate.

Useful “young veteran” to solidify 4th line and can help provide leadership to a young team that should be ready to take the next step. In 2017 it was Toronto. 2018 Colorado and 2019 Carolina. Come 2020, it’s Buffalo’s turn.

Good signing. Excellent shot suppression, back/forechecking, and faceoff skills, has the occasional jaw-dropper goal too. Makes Girgs a bit redundant (unless he's our 13th forward) as I think CJ Smith would be a better 4LW.

Girgensons has the most hustle on the team unless Scott Wilson plays. Larry doesn't use his speed enough

I like him a lot on the 4th line in BUF, but he needs to bounce back offensively next season. I think maybe they should explore a trade for Zemgus Girgensons. There are several contending teams that could use his depth at a manageable AAV.

The hockey gods giveth and the hockey gods taketh. Larsson quickly signs this before Sabres come to their senses.
