Great value signing - if he can stay healthy. And if his injuries haven’t stunted the growth of what should have be an established Top-6 NHL winger by now.

He’ll get a chance, maybe not in the Top-6 right away, but at least on the 3rd line. I don’t see him sticking in St. Louis beyond this year. It’s moot if he can’t stay healthy but if he shows glimmers of his skill from 3 or 4 years ago then he could be affordable trade bait early in the season to shore up Blues needs in other areas.

Yeah its funny he even took a pay cut of like 20K or so smile. Blues many might forget were nearly in playoffs only to get eliminated by guy who should have won MVP that year... Either way I hope this guy can get himself on track... I think they had a player injured like 2 years ago, maybe he was on defense, can't remember name. Its a shame how certain people are just injury prone or unable to play effectively injured... While others seem to never get hurt even when it looks like they should wink. Even if he can show some flashes its an easy contract to trade for something wink...
