Especially coming off a ahl championship, there has to be a few injury replacements and some lower 6 and bottom pairings battles to come from within. Haula coming off injury, but I’m sure there’s a backup plan there

As you should! You have a great teamsmile but I don't think your trading Reimer (at least not yet) and if that's your biggest and only dislike, I think your doing juat fine.

Yeah, Kouk, Geekie, Gauthier, Carrick, Matheos. There’s a good group still in Charlotte.

It’s not a statement on Reimer, I just think Ned is ready for a back up role/ 35 starts like the platoon they ran last year. That’s all.

I’d like to see Captain back. And i have more faith in Nedeljkovic or Reimer than i do in Mrazek. Mrazek was incredible in the final 3rd of the season. Until then he was Scott Darling with a sv% hovering around .890 til that hot stretch. Was right back in the .890s in the playoffs. History says he’s more the .890s guy than he is the final 3rd guy. But this is the best team they have fielded to start the season in a long time. Plenty to be optimistic about. Should be a playoff team. Goalies will decide their fate.

Geekie could be in the mix sooner rather than later, I think Matheos could use some time but that could be 2c and 3c behind aho in not too distant future

Not saying I disagree, just looks like you guys are stuck with Reimer. Although if Nedeljkovic beats out Reimer in camp (which is likely) than I can see them shopping Reimer. Although it will probably take a bit of time to move him so he likely goes too Charlotte.

Remember when the canes wouldn't spend anymore? How's Dzingel looking?

I get what you’re saying, but Bostons PP killed Petr’s Save % in the playoffs. Save Percentage is a bit misleading due to the low number of shots this team gives up. Mrazek can be streaky, but he’s been the best goaltender this team has had since 09, and its not really close.

??

I worry his production will drop off. His career best year last year came with increased playing time and more PP time along with 1st line minutes and the best line mates he’s had. Once he was traded to Jax and lost that his production dropped. But i like his speed and versatility, and the AAV was lower than what i expected he’d go for. Was a good move. I hope they bring back Williams and extend Faulk now.

I don't see Faulk being extended now, like right this second, I think they have too many RFA's to make deals with first, but I could see him being extended next year. Williams is up to the player, I can pull the article up from NHL.com if you want, if he doesn't retire, Waddell has left the cap space and Dundon wants to pay him

Oh, i know that’s the case with Williams. Just think he is a big loss especially in the locker room if he does not return.

Getting Faulk extended will help significantly when Hamilton is in the same situation next year. Having Faulk and Pesce on board they won’t be over a barrel.
