Even assuming that Mitch takes a reasonable deal I don't think he is enough for the both of them.
We also just moved Naz as his hit was too high for this team and his talents were being wasted at 3c, trochek would be much the same.

All in all neither team goes for it, unless FLA do then the leafs agree and flip trochek.

I like the idea! However have to be careful with Ekblads concussion history as this trade could backfire. Also we would probably have to flip Trocheck, as he would be too expensive to be our third line center and could get good value for him.

Good idea but Florida erodes their depth at center and defense so this doesn't make sense for them.

Trochek is more valuable as a center. Maybe not as skilled. But he actually plays a 2 way game and can put up 70 points easily with his line mates. And has half the cap hit as Marner will get. And losing ekblad just destroys this teams d which is the worse thing the panther have going for them. So unless they’re getting better on d they’re not trading away those 2 players.

It depletes their center and defense depth too much to make sense for Florida. But they would at least give it some serious thought and probably try to adjust it. I would think they would want Berrie going to them in this trade just not sure what else they would offer up in the deal to balance it out.

Ceci is cap dump and terrible has very little to no value. Ekblad is worth more then marner. He has a better contract and more important position. But not only do had ceci u also add throchek who has more value then kadri.
