Chekhovich is SJs top offensive prospect. Kane put up 30 goals last year...hardly cast offs.

Marner priced himself off a team in a sense. He is basically sitting until Toronto forks over the cash he wants. Also, I don’t think it’s wise to have such a top heavy team. EK65 and Marner would be both making at/over $10 million a year. That’s a substantial amount of the cap locked to just two players.
