Leafs are not in a position to take Bennings cap
and JP and a 3rd for Gusev
Gusev is asking for 4+ mil

I dont know if the Leafs make that deal. Tough to give up AHL leading scorer Bracco who is still very much a good prospect. Also EDM might have to throw in a draft pick to get Guzev

If the Leafs don’t sign Marner there going to keep Bracco as a playmaker and they can use picks to get a better defencemen than Benning.

There is a rumour that the leafs are still in talks with jake Gardiner. Not sure how thats possible due to dollar issues but if the Leafs have shown anything its that they are among the best in the league at cap management.
