I completely forgot to do my D pairings, I’ll fix that. Would you play Gusev or Drouin on RW?

Drouin, he did a couple goals coming from the RW.

When watching him play he did seem a bit awkward, especially when passing on the RW. But I’m sure he would get used to it when consistently playing there.

Anyway CJ will tried both on the RW, the one the most consistant will keep that spot

Juulsen is a lot to give up for a high-priced rookie ($4M+) who has never skated in an NHL game.

I’d much rather take one of the best players in the KHL than a defensive defenseman with a ceiling of being a 4D.

Why not take the best small forward in the AHL? Based on history, Carter Verhaeghe, Jeremy Bracco or Daniel Carr have about the same chance of being impact players -- and they won't cost you $5M/year to find out. (Yes, the KHL is that much worse than the NHL)

Idk, he's a natural playmaker, really has the tools to be one of the best playmaking fwd in the league.
    I don't think he's a fit on the RW

    Not enough for Gusev,
    Jesse Granger keeps getting misquoted.
Here is a clearer response from him yesterday
"They’ve had teams call from around the league, they’ve had a few offers but I don’t think the offers are what they would like. Right now they are getting something like a second round pick with a prospect or a late draft pick attached to that, which is not nearly the value Nikita Gusev should draw."

Since those offers are clearly not enough, that is the reason he hasn't been traded yet. They can move a couple of dead contracts and sign him themselves
