Less happy about this one. $875k makes him less likely to get called up than other RFAs. He was pretty disappointing last season, being the least promising of all the rookies the Kings have played. The fact that he's now $175k above prospects higher on the depth chart was a bad decision on his part IMO.

Just simply accepted his QO. It’s a rather bold bet on himself that he can make the Kings. Otherwise he could have negotiated for >AHL salary for
