The starting point for Gusev is a 2nd round pick and either a lower round pick or prospect.

From all accounts, nobody has offered that yet but it is Vegas’ asking price. I think if someone offered a 2021 2nd and 2020 5th, Vegas would be hard pressed to not accept it.

"They’ve had teams call from around the league, they’ve had a few offers but I don’t think the offers are what they would like. Right now they are getting something like a second round pick with a prospect or a late draft pick attached to that, which is not nearly the value Nikita Gusev should draw."

Since those offers are clearly not enough, that is the reason he hasn't been traded yet.
