if we can't find a trading partner to help the team now , we can look to help the team in the future


taking one bad contract from the team who give the best prospect.
we ask the big price to take one bad contract for 3-4 years (1st round + good prospect)
let them bid to give the best prospect possible
and we hope that we can buy him out next summer without penalities with the new cba (if no lock out)
so no penalitie on the salary cap for the habs only Molson paying for him after this year
this is only if we think there will be 2 buy out without penalitie per team with the new cba(like the last time)
