ROFL MTL nor any team in the NHL, AHL, OHL, WHL, KHL or any league in the world is going to take lucic contract for the value of 2x 2nd rounders yet alone EDm getting anything of value going back.

If we are taking Lucic and giving a great prospect like Juulsen, it's start with a 2020 first... No way we're doing this for a potential flop and a second... Look what Marleau cost to the leafs.... A fair deal would be Hudon and a 3rd for Lucic, a first (top 5 protect) and Samorukov.

Oilers don't need Juulsen (who seems like a good d-man prospect) and don't need more garbage players like Hudon and Lindgren

No way Lucic, even with 1.5M retained is traded without at least a 1st going with Poolparty in order to get JUST Hudon in return. The only Lucic to Mtl trade that could work potentially is if Alzner is going the other way. but that would still require EDM to give MTL incentive.

Rangers easily pass. Buchnevich is a top 6 forward rn and Namestnikov is a solid player that plays all forward positions (and has proven success with elite players, just imagine him next to mcdavid and drai like he was next to stamkos and kuch).

Bear hasn't been able to crack edmontons terrible defense, plus rangers have Trouba, Fox, DeAngelo, Lundkvist, Shattenkirk who are all better.
I just don't like Yamamoto because his production doesn't make up for his lack of size. Struggled pretty bad in his 17 game call up and didn't light the AHL up at all. People will say he's like Debrincat but we can all tell he isn't by now.

Throw in a 1st rounder unprotected and MAYBE, even that is a low offer. For Buch alone people have posted Puljujarvi, Bear and a 2nd. I think Puljujarvi is better than Yamamoto too
