    Whoof.

    Bean=1st
    Faulk=1st+2nd or 3rd
    Wallmark=2nd
    + 2 x 1st= 4 1sts+2nd+3rd, plus losing depth on the back end. Might as well just offersheet him and pay the 4 1st rounders?

    Lolz. So, 2 1sts, Pesce (2 x 1st)+Bean (1st)+Foegele (2nd)=5 x 1sts+2nd?

    Is Laine the new GOAT?

    How good is Roland Mckeowen? How many years out from NHL?

    Braco is probably one more year out but should see time this year on Leafs roster early on.

    All I can picture is Dubas pulling a Conor McGregor, who the $&@! is that guy? And ye ain’t taking my 7th rounder.

    Bean is not worth a 1st
    Pesce isnt worth 2 firsts

    Laine is worth 4 firsts.(only because he is worth that on a O/S) as he wont be traded any other way

    If you're going to disagree, at least show your work.

    Muzzin with 1.25 years of control was worth a 1st+B prospect+C Prospect. Pesce with 5 years of cheap control is worth 2 x 1st.

    Bean, 2 years removed from being the 13th OA pick, is now NHL ready, and on 25 other teams last year, would have played the entire year in the NHL. If that's not worth a 1st, I'm not sure what is. Does a well developed former 1st rounder who has done nothing to depreciate his value, suddenly lose value?

    And, to be fair, if Laine was worth 4 1sts, it would mean that the offer sheet he signed makes him one of the top 2-3 paid wingers in the league.

    Good luck friend!

    Why the **** would toronto trade a better AHL player with picks for a worse AHL player.
    As if that's the worst issue with this

    If Carolina wants Laine, then they will have to pay for him. The Jets are not shopping Laine. So any team will have to pay a premium.

    Take off Bean then...The Jets dont need him.

    Pesce, Foegele and a first and 2nd.....Thats if Carolina wants him that bad

    I don't think anyone said that Carolina wants him "that" bad. He's a very good player, and a natural goal scorer, but as it stands, they'd give up 2 x 1sts, a 2nd, and a 3rd if they offersheeted him at this price. By the time you guys re-sign Connor, you're going to have a D-core that rivals the 2018 Leafs. Good luck!
