Almost certainly the worst team. Only team they can compete against is LA, I think.

Other teams in the last place hunt have more quality pieces that will steal them some games. LA still has Kopitar, Doughty and Quick (even though all three sucked last year), Minnesota was barely out of the playoffs last year and added Zuccarello (I don't think they'll be good, but they're substantially better than Ottawa), Anaheim still has Getzlaf, Rakell, Lindholm and Gibson to go along with some other quality pieces as well. Ottawa is basically Chabot, Tkachuk and White. That's a last place team

He won't. At least for the start of the year. Maybe when injuries occur or after the trade deadline. Need to clear a roster spot for him before calling him up and Melnyk won't pay people millions of dollars to sit in the press box.

they well better be the worst team so to snag that 1st OA.... and Pageau is worth more than a lonely 2nd, he is a 26 YO good 3C regardless of UFA status.
