ANA trade v2 Last move of the summer

Created by: AudioCats
Team: 2019-20 Buffalo Sabres
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 19, 2019
Published: Jul. 19, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Sobotka doesn't just yeet off to nowhere. Players that can't be moved are buried.

If Kase wasn't such an injury risk I'd have no problem with this being 1:1.

What if the trade were conditional: if Kase plays in 62 games it becomes a third?

I'm dying to know what you meant by "yeet."

I don’t think Kase is worth it to be honest; entirely due to his injury concerns and not being a Center

Kase shoulder injury was a freak thing. Took a face off after C got kicked and somehow messed his shoulder up. The other injuries were head shots by Kings D men.

That’s said I’d be pissed if the ducks moved Kase. He’s the ducks most consistent fwd when he plays.

Jesus, no...Ristolainen is worth more, if we can't get a top-6 center then it's not worth trading him right now.

And if Sobotka is waived to Rochester, I guarantee he would go back to Russia...he's not going to want to play in the AHL when he could play back home in the KHL.

And Reinhart is not playing center, Botterill already hinted at that multiple times.

Yeet means to move with incredible force. More or less. I don't buy the AGMs that just assume he leaves for the KHL. He might, but who knows how much he likes 3.25M to play in the AHL for a year.

It is a stretch, true, but I think moving for a 2C will cost more assets on our end and with Mitts/Cozens in the mix I'm not sure its the best long-term move. This AGM isn't meant to win now.
